What makes The Children's Place different?
We are a year round child care facility that cares for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are an extension of the United Presbyterian Church, where we have been focusing on nurturing happy, healthy children since 1992.

Hours of operation- 6:45am-5:15pm
We offer full time enrollment Monday-Friday with a monthly tuition fee. We offer a cash/check discount off of monthly tuition.

Classroom configuration
There are different teacher to child ratios for different age groups. Our infant room and wobbler room ratio is 1 teacher per 4 children not to exceed 8 children. Our Toddler room is 1 teacher per 5 children not to exceed 10 children. Both of our preschool rooms' ratio is 1 teacher per 10 children not to exceed 20 children.

Although each classroom has its own individualism we all focus on creating a caring, nurturing environment that both children and families are welcomed. Our teachers provide an assortment of different materials that encourage children’s social and emotional development, critical thinking and language and literacy development.
Our preschool classes attend chapel time where they are introduced to Godly Play; an interactive biblical story led by our church ministries. We work hard to honor the beliefs and traditions of all our families. Our classrooms enter rest time at 12:30-2:30; where the blinds will be closed and soft soothing music plays. Our infant room follows the individual needs of the babies.

Meal time
Our center provides breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Our kitchen staff are very knowledgeable and work hard at creating healthy kid friendly meals. If you have allergies or food sensitivities we do our best to accommodate these needs. We are a nut free center.

Our center is blessed to be staffed with happy, confident, loving staff that come to work ready to provide your child and family with the best care possible. If it sounds like we will meet your needs and you are interested in scheduling a tour and added to our waitlist please contact us.
Admission Process:
Step 1

Step 2

Step 3
Visit our campus! We encourage all our families to schedule a tour of the classrooms before enrolling. This is a great time to ask questions, meet our teachers, and see what a typical day looks like in our facility.
Once you are ready to enroll your child, the director will reach out to you to confirm space in our classrooms. From there, you will be asked to fill out registration paperwork. There is a one time registration fee of $45. You can pay that via check, cash, or card. This secures a place in our facility.
Confirm your schedule and start date. We ask all our families what schedule they would like. If needed, financial assistance is available. We are blessed to have received support through our congregation. This is given on a case by case basis. For more information, please talk to the director during the registration process.
